Chillin' to the tunes (Advanced)
1. What kind of music do you enjoy?
2. It was once said that The Beatles album “Sgt. Peppers lonely hearts club band” contained messages from the Devil if it was played backwards. Do you think music has dark, Satanic messages?
3. Who is the greatest musician ever? Does a musician have to be technically great at their chosen instrument to be considered “Great”.
4. The Sex pistols lead singer, Johnny Rotten, once sat on stage and said “Ever get the feeling you've been cheated? Good night ?” to express his apathy about the music industry. Do you agree with him – is the music industry just made up of manufactured bands who can be thrown away at any time?
5. Should bands/artists from the 50's / 60's be forced to pay royalties to African American musicians for making their songs popular to a white audience who otherwise would never have hear of them?
6. What do you think of the practice of Lip-syncing?
