Text: "OCTO_HASI, BLACK HASI, GIOVANNA and OMA arrived in Tokyo by flying carpet and are enjoying some balkan beats with a picnic. Where are we coming from? Where is your place? Where is mine? Where is the place of everybody? I am here, standing and positioning myself upand down, left and right, vertically or horizontally. Red, blue, green, white, black, yellow lines. In a circle there is no end nor a beginning of life."In OCTO_HASI_BALKAN_PICNIC OCTO_HASI is an allegory for communication, BLACK HASI for technology, GIOVANNA for the spirit of cosmos space and OMA for nature. In a world heading directly to the middle of the 21st century a good balance of technology, intellectuality, spirituality and nature is the most needed. To get this balance we should get rid of materialism and go beyond religions, nations and ideaologies. We should keep our on way and with the energy of dreams we should get in realtion with the world. In PICNIC everybody can enjoy themself at any time everywhere, freely. You can move freely without concerning much about communication or context in the fi elds of time and space. The main theme is "Drawing with words" a very demonstrative method, which is the attempt to connect the viewer with his cosmos by "crossover", where the normativ meanings of words will be abandoned. Without noticing OCTO-HASI will be teleported to an unexpected place.
