Hello everyone,

First of all, we hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year and that yourexams haven't been to much of a hassle over the last couple of weeks.

To celebrate the end of exam period and as a way to welcome you all back, theJapanese Society is holding a social this Tuesday night!

The details are asfollows:
Date: 23/1/07 21:00Time: 21:00 - 1:00
Venue: Pulse Bar in the Student UnionFree Entry!
If you can't remember where Pulse is, it's the same place we held the welcomesocial in September (or October?) last year.

We once again have the same"unbelievable" drinks offer we had last time. What this means is bottles ofAsahi and Tsing Tao beers will be on sale for £1.50 each or £5 for 4!
We willtry and get some other drinks offers sorted by that time as well, so we'll keepyou posted.

In other news, we have various events planned for this semester includingconversation classes, meals, a quiz night and many more socials and nights out.
The Japanese Society website is also nearly up and running, we just need totweak it a little bit more before its grand unveiling to the public.
More information on all of these things to follow soon...

Anyway, we hope to see you all their on Tuesday night for a few (excellentlypriced) drinks. Best Wishes The Japanese Society Team Loading...
