24th February 5.30pm Council Chamber, Hazelrigg, Loughborough University
We would like to invite you to the University to hear more about the University’s hosting of the Japanese Olympic teams as well as our plans to celebrate their presence through a programme of cultural events. Jon Walker, Director of External Affairs, Nick Slater, Director of Arts and Ben Aherne, Business Development Manager within Sports Development will discuss what has already been put in place as well as what is being planned.
We would very much like to use the event to hear your thoughts and ideas for what might be included within the cultural and events programme. Following the presentations there will be a special showing of the Japanese film Ping Pong based on a Japanese novel about two contrasting Ping Pong players.
