Originally from New Zealand, currently based West London, Mark is a key collaborator, artist and producer in the broken beat/future jazz scene spear-headed by Bugz in the Attic, Domu, Dego + Marc Mac (4Hero), Phil Asher (Restless Soul) and IG Culture. Since his debut LP 'Six Degrees' [Universal Jazz] in 2000, Mark has stamped his sound on over 100 releases, collaborating with the likes of Kenny Dope [Masters at Work] and DJ Spinna [BBE/rapster]. His collaborations/ productions/ remixes have been featured on a host of quality labels such as 4Hero's 2000Black label, MAW Records, Papa Records, Ubiquity, Metalheadz and more.

Mark's latest release, 'Tide's Arising' [ABB Soul/ Antipodeon] features a host of high profile artists including Bembé Segué [who will be performing vocals at this show], Abdul Shyllon, Pino Palladino [D'Angelo], Capitol A [Former MC for The Roots/Jazzanova], Kaidi Tatham, Vanessa Freeman & Nathan and Joel Haines.

Also performing with MDCL is Bembe Segue recognized
as one of the hottest and most versatile vocalists in
Broken Beat/ Future Jazz scene. Singer, composer, producer, DJ, and poet, Bembe has attracted attention from producers worldwide. She has lent her dynamic and unique vocal styles to high profile producers and artists such as Dego [4Hero], IG Culture [New Sector Movement], TY, Da Lata, Sleep Walker, Alex Attias, Seiji, etc.
