Mass United is an Underground Techno Collective based in Tokyo that centers itself round a monthly club night which was established in 2001 by promoter Wet Pocket. After a couple of events at Club Ism in Shibuya, Mass expanded and found a new home at Club Module in Shibuya, where it has been running sucessfully since mid-2001. Original resident DJ's, K.N. and DJ Cunt were soon joined by current residents, Cydeboard and DJ 2003. Mass regularly plays host to many other national DJ's as well as inviting international guests from the UK and Australia. Such artists have included Chris and Aaron Liberator, ANT, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Guy McAffer, Rackitt, DDR, Sarah F.A.B., James Kinetec, DJ Giselle, Thermobee and SLS. As well as the club nights, Mass United is soon to be adding a record label to the collective (Mass Recordings), writing and recording material at K.N.'s "The Fast Lane" Studio as well as comissioning tracks from the artists of the London based Stay Up Forever Collective.
