Hey, how are you all doing so far? I hope midterms aren't killing you too much.

The Student Government would like to announce our Overnight Ski Trip for this semester. Students will have the chance to ski or snowboard for two days at the Sun Alpina Kashimayari Resort in Nagano prefecture. Leaving at night on March 26 and staying til the 28th, it is all-inclusive trip including:
a round-trip group bus
2 day lift ticket
rental gear (pants and jacket)
rental equipment (choice of snowboard or ski)
1 night hotel accommodation with dinner on the 27th and breakfast on the 28th
a room accommodates 5 people and roommate preference can be arranged beforehand
the bath at the hotel is a public bath and there are no private showers in the rooms
Onsen use at the ski resort on the 28th
rental equipment insurance
accident insurance
You can get all this for the low price of 13,000 yen, but you gotta act quick. The group limit is 45 people and you have until March 2nd to reserve your spot on the trip.

Possible expenses that are not included in the package are as follows:
accessory rentals (hats, gloves, goggles): 500 yen each day
changing rental equipment (ski <-> snowboard): 500 yen
Locker use: 200 - 500 yen/day depending on size (you can split the cost by sharing with someone)
All other personal expenses and meals (breakfast and dinner on 2nd day (3/27) are included)
Full payment is expected at time of registration and no spots will be held if there is no payment. The ski trip payment is non-refundable, unless the trip is cancelled due to low participation (30 participant minimum) or other unforeseen circumstances.

All students will have to sign a liability waiver at time of registration. Students under the age of 20 would need to have a parent or guardian review and sign a copy of the waiver as well.

Tentative schedule for the ski trip is as follows:
3/26 (fri) - 22:30 Bus departs from TUJ (Azabu)
3/27 (sat) - 5:30 Arrive at ski resort / Enoy skiing & snowboarding (7:30 - 16:30) / 18:00 Dinner at hotel
3/28 (sun) - 7:00 breakfast at hotel / Enjoy skiing & snowboarding (7:30 - 16:30) / Leave ski resort / 21:30 Arrive at TUJ
Tickets will be available at the TUJ Student Government office in Azabu, 2nd Fl in the back of the student lounge, as well as the OSS office in Azabu 1st floor.
