It is also a time to celebrate the end of the year, and, to honor the timeless tradition in Japan of "Bonenkai" - the end of the year gathering of friends over food and drinks.
This is an open invitation for JASM members, and their friends, to come to a casual "Bonenkai" that will be held right after the annual meeting at Kikugawa Restaurant at Riverplace on Thursday, Dec. 16 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
Reservations are highly recommended to ensure seating. Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 14th by calling the JASM office, 612-627-9357, or by sending an email to jasm@us-japan.org.
