Fay and Michael Kanin’s play “RASHOMON” is an adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's classic 1950 film in which four people describe a murder from four different vantage points. The Kanins' play has been a repertory staple in America since its Broadway premiere in 1959. The play is set 1,000 years ago in Japan, the classic tale of greed, passion, suspense, and mystery. “An outlaw kills a samurai and ravishes his wife―or are things really so black and white? With four conflicting versions of the story, how does one know right from wrong?”
RASHOMON is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30th, 7:30 p.m. (door opens at 7:00 p.m.) at Gaede State, located at the Center for the Arts on MSUM campus. $5 ticket available at the door and we suggest PG-13. If you have any questions, please contact with YASU at aidearyoumore@gmail.com
