"Yes We Can Can" has been going on since 1997 and has served as a way for
Myself (Crazy Legs) and the the rest of Rock Steady Crew to start off the
year by giving back to the community. Throughout the year's we've given all
food donations to organizations such as City Harvest, El Puente Academy For
Peace and Justice as well as The Point C.D.C. Located in the South Bronx.
This year's food will also be going to The Point C.D.C. (www.thepointcdc.org)
to benefit their after school program, where disadvantage children will be
able to bring home much needed food for their families. This year we would
like to announce that Danny Castro from The Lyricist Lounge and Voodoo Ray
as partners for the 2008 Yes "We Can Can" food drive.
And to top it off, myself and Danny Castro will be celebrating out Birthdays
during this great event. Please keep in mind that this event is about
supporting the community. Admission is non-perishable food items. Please
don't be cheap!!! 21 and Over!!!!
