Notice for "VIP Higashikurume BC" May class !

今月５月は世界的に著名な天文学者のヒュー・ロス博士をゲスト・
スピーカーとしてお招きいたします。
VIP Higashikurume invites a world-famous astronomer,
Dr. Hugh Ross to its May meeting as a guest speaker.

ヒュー・ロス博士は米国カリフォルニア州にある"Reasons to
Believe（信仰の根拠）" の創設者で、同団体の代表を務めており
ます。ロス博士は、ブリティッシュ・コロンビア大学で物理学を専攻
され、その後、トロント大学大学院へ進み天文学で修士号と博士号
を取得されました。
Dr. Ross is the founder and president of a Christian organization
"Reasons to Believe" in Pasadena, California. He graduated
from the University of British Columbia majoring in Physics, and
he received a Ma.Sc. in Astronomy and Ph.D. in Astronomy
from the University of Toronto.

ロス博士は世界各国の大学や研究機関で講演され、またテレビや
ラジオなどでも活躍なさっています。また同博士の著書はアメリカで
は国際ナビゲーター、また日本では、いのちのことば社などからも
出版されております。
He often lectures in universities and research organizations
throughout the world, and frequently appears on TV and radio
programs in the United States. Also, his books have been
published by Navigators in the U.S. and also from Word of Life
Ministries here in Japan.

ロス博士は今月、２６日土曜日にVIP東久留米BCで、地球や宇宙
のことについて講演をされます。あなたの宇宙観、世界観が変わる
かもしれません。ぜひご参加ください。
The fourth Saturday of this month, you can hear Dr. Ross' lecture
about the universe. We're sure your view of the world will be
completely changed. Why don't you join us?

**今月予定しておりました "日々明るく、元気に過ごすには" という
テーマのバイブル・クラスはいずれ改めて行ないます。
** The topic of this month "Being cheerful and vigorous everyday"
will be done in the near future.

当日、午後1時45分頃 東久留米駅西口(みずほ銀行側)１階ロー
タリーより会場までのお迎えの車(黒色の日産ワゴン車）を皆様の
必要に応じて出させて頂きます。
乗車のお申込みは、下記のマリ・ヒックスまでお願いいたします。
There will be a black Nissan van arriving at Higashikurume Station
west side exit (Mizuho Bank side) at 1:45 pm for those who are
coming by train or who need a ride from the station.
