Rock Climbing at Hiwada Yama. This climbing area is near Okutama, and is located about an hour from Ikebukuro. There are over 20 beginner routes in this area, plus many intermediate routes if you wish to have more of a challenge, so it will be a great place for your first outdoor climbing experience.

Beginners are welcome The instructor has been teaching climbing for 7 years, and has a license from The American Mountain Guides Association to teach rock climbing. Our trips are always small groups, less than 6 so you can do more climbing in the day.

The cost for the trip is 6,000 円. All equipment will be given to you (Helmet, harness, and climbing shoes.)
