In the shadow of the slow skulk of summer, the 24th installment of Test Tone lurks with the promise of reverse-engineered space-jazz, time-lapsed graffiti dreamstates, prowling butoh permutations, neverending winding spiraling sketches and future flutes with majestic piano themes. That's right. Tuesday, the 12th of June, from 8 p.m. you'll be able to swoop down to Nishi-Azabu Super Deluxe for a kaleidoscopic carnival of dance, music, sculpture, graffiti and other peripheries, free of charge. The organically-designed room will be prepared with droning saxophone celebrations, seismic drums and rumbling double-bass, coupled with the sweet sounds of what may have been Egyptian funk, once upon a time.
