It has had several productions in Australia , one with Mel Gibson playing Pedro. The play takes place in a Central America contry in the days ust before and after a revolution. Two reporters, an American woman and a Chinese man, meet at a hotel restaurant and then....
Tomoko's Story This is a world premiere of " Tomoko's Story ", which I wrote directly in Japanese. The time is October 1966; the place , an espreso cafe on Kawaramachi Blvd, in Kyoto. One day, while Tomoko Sasaki , a university student, is having a coffee there , an American soldier on R & R from Vietnam walks in. This soldier, Tomoko and the cafe owner find themselves enacting not only the encounter there and then but also events that took place years before.
