隊長はたしかこれが初50Kだったと記憶してますが、その後快進撃？が続いております。

Dear Stevens Creek 50K Participant, Potential Participant, Volunteer, and
Potential Volunteer,

Only five weeks until the Stevens Creek 50K on August 15. As of right now
there are 66 runners registered, which leaves 4 open places, and, given our
history of 10-20 last minute cancellations (no-fee races tend to encourage
that!), really more like 15 or so open places. So if you, or a friend, are
thinking about running the least expensive full-service 50K race around, on
the prettiest 50K course around, now's the time to sign up:

As every year, volunteers are still very much needed and very much
appreciated. You'll be helping out your fellow runners (if you are a
runner), and helping raise money for a good cause (the environmental
advocacy work of the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society), not to mention
sharing in the race goodies. WE NEED YOUR HELP, whether for a morning, an
afternoon, or all day! Use the registration form on the main page (link
above) to sign up as a volunteer and thanks in advance.

In the meantime...keep training and we'll see those of you who are running
and volunteering on August 15th!
