[Sean Smith] http://smoothagentrecords.com/ Sean Smith, a native Chicagoan, began his career as a disc jockey at the age of 13. He is ranked among Chicago’s top DJs and producers and has played at several of Chicago’s hottest nightclubs, The Budda Lounge, Boom Boom Room, Spy Bar, Red Dog, OHM, Cuatro, Zentra, Subterranean, Martini Ranch, Sonotheque, as well as numerous private parties and after hour spots.
In 1993, Sean moved from Chicago to Grambling, Louisiana where he attended Grambling State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (1998). During his residency in Louisiana, he built a solid name for himself by hosting his own mix show on KGRM 91.5 FM, did guest spots on K98 FM, and performed at clubs such as Renaissance, Club H20, Club Millennium, and Lacies.
He returned to Chicago and released a record with MFON called “Ron Hardy’s Resurrection on SOMA UK. This song received raved reviews not only in his hometown, Chicago, but also in Europe.
Sean’s vision is to feed the airwaves and satisfy the appetite of fans everywhere who enjoy quality music. In March 2003, Smooth Agent Records was born. Sean is the founder and CEO of Smooth Agent Records and established this company to broaden his fan base and to released music by artists such as: Johnny Fiasco, Roy Davis Jr., Ron Trent, DaJae, Abicah Soul, Stacy Kidd, Bernard Badie, Kenny Cavajhal, DJ Pap a.k.a. Black Mamba, Karu and others.

In May 2007, Sean started his current weekly residency @ Betty’s Blue Star (Chicago)--“Real House Music Sunday” featuring Sean along with his weekly guest playing current and classic house music.
In 2008, Sean launched Smooth Agent Records first Winter Music Conference event in Miami, @ Club Templo, which featured DJs Stacy Kidd, Grand High Priest, Shannon Harris & others.
In March 2009, Sean released his first full vocal entitled Cloud 9 featuring J.L. from BSTC (Chicago Live Dance Band). That same month Sean returned to the Winter Music Conference with Smooth Agent Records presenting “Rejuvenation” @ The Living Room, featured DJs were Ian Friday, Andy Compton, Jihad Mohammed, Julius the Mad Thinker & Stacy Kidd.. True house music was at it’s best!
For 2009 Smooth Agent Records have scheduled releases with Roy Davis Jr., Andre Harris, DJ Pap, Bernard Badie Feat. DaJae & other Sean Smith projects.
