CALL FOR ART DONATIONS: Please help us support Japan by donating artwork for our charity auction on May 11. We will display some of donated artwork online and in the E-Atrium prior to the auction. For the month of May, a selection of the donated artwork will also be featured in the display cases in the lobby of the B-building at LaGuardia Community College. The Visual Arts office M223 (718-482-5709) accepts art donations from the entire school and the public on or after April 25th. Silent Art Auction for Japan Tsunami Earthquake Disaster Relief

LaGuardia Community College will host a silent art auction to benefit disaster victims in Japan on Wednesday, May 11. LaGuardia’s Visual Arts Faculty, including our Chairperson and Program Director, students, staff, and alumni as well as Japan Club and Art Club members have generously donated their artwork to help support relief efforts in Japan. 100% of the sales will be donated to Japan through the LaGuardia Disaster Relief Fund.

This event has been made possible with the generous support of the LaGuardia Japan Club and Art Club, the Visual Arts Program of the Humanities Department, Trees of Art, and A Sortie, Inc.
