Doc Martin
Doc Martin’s live sets truly bring people together the variation in his style of music is endless. What makes him so different from the rest? is his unique ability to spin everything from deep house vocals that have so much depth and meaning to us all in some way, his funky tribal Bass lines mixed with threads of acid, his passive collection of classics rare records that are only to be heard at his gigs. Doc Martin has developed the respect as a house DJ that so many of us admire It is this respect that keeps him constantly touring , from New York to London, Japan and everywhere in between he has played at such venues and events as Fabric (London) , Panorama Bar (Berlin), Womb (Tokyo) and many more
Tom Demac
2009 has been an encouraging year for Tom Demac. After strengthening his relationship with the Murmur imprint - releasing 3 critically acclaimed EP's, namely Crew Cuts & Curls towards the end of the year - the music lovers out there seem to finally be tuning in to Tom's 'uniquely kinked grooves'. After records flying off the shelves and entering the boxes of top jocks like Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Maryanne Hobbs (blah blah), Tom has gone on to perform his raw and energetic Live PA performances and DJ sets throughout Europe. Gathering inspiration from the rolling hills of his native North Wales, Tom tailors the unique identity in his music no doubt aided by the lack of surrounding trends. From early sessions in a friends garage (containing a few rusty boxes and a four-track), Tom went on to study music technology at Salford University in Manchester, exchanging most of his studying time for studio time along with persistently pestering the Orbit residents at the legendary Eastern Bloc records and promoting club nights. Since then he has developed his own characteristic sound, based on a philosophy of creating music aimed at the dance-floor but carrying enough 'essence' to be enjoyed in the home. . Looking forward to 2010, it's already shaping up to be a good year for Tom. With releases lined up on Hypercolour, Liebe Detail and Murmur, various remixes (including a remix for Crosstown Rebels) along with the launch of the new techno project - 'Dense' with good friend Glimpse. Keep your ears peeled for Demac's 'uniquely kinked grooves' over the coming months...
