Dear JAIMS students, alumni, friends and family,

Mark your calendars for the second official JAIMS Bond HANAMI to be hosted at beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen on Saturday, March 28th.

There is no charge for this "picnic" format party. Each person should bring whatever they would like to eat or drink. The park website says that alcohol is not allowed but this is not enforced so please feel free to bring a little wine, beer or sake if you want to. We had the picnic in the same location last year with no problems.

Members of the JAIMS Bond Leadership Committee will arrive at 10:00am and will reserve a space. Please email Larry for a map (kieffer@ninepoint.com). You are welcome to come at any time but remember that the park closes at 4:30pm. If you cannot find us when you arrive please call Larry at 090-4969-8673.

The closest entrance is the Okido Gate and it is also near the parking lot. The station nearby is Shinjuku Gyoen Mae on the Marunouchi line (about 5 minutes).

As always, friends and family members are welcome but since this will be a weekend and outdoor event we hope to see a large turnout of children and spouses. If it rains, snows or hails, we will reschedule.

RSVPs are encouraged but not required. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
