DAVE TWOMEY PROFILE

Dave has been playing the major clubs in Tokyo now for over 5 years, worldwide for 10. He has held residencies at almost all the major Tokyo clubs - Yellow & Air, Womb & recently Colors. Building on his Muzik magazine Bedroom Bedlam UK win in 2002, tours to South America, Germany, China & more in the time between plus his Loud Magazine No. 11 Best DJ in 2004 the British born DJ / event organiser has been charging forward this last year or so. His well established YUK @ Womb event has received praise from punters, scene leaders & artists alike his KonZept Maus @ Colors Studio (hopefully Unit by the end of the year) event goes from strength to strength. In the last year or two his MYM agency has booked minimal legends like Falko Brocksieper, Oliver Hacke, Paul Ritch - even Jeff Milligan by a slight chance of fate - and his net radio shows MYM & MAUSTOKYO have featured the likes of Cobblestone Jazz (over 7000 listeners!!), Alex Smoke, Ryan Elliott, Dartrixx (aka Fumiya Tanaka & Radiq) & many many more and are listened to by thousands all over the world. He is currently working on productions for release in 2008.

東京の主要クラブでは既に5年、世界中でのプレイ経験は10年と言うキャリアのDaveTwomey。東京のアンダーグラウンドで活躍する外人 DJの中でも群を抜くDaveは、現在Yellow、Air、WombやColorsを含めた東京の主要クラブでのレジデンシーを持ち続けている。02年に受賞した英Bedroom Bedlam賞をきっかけに南アフリカ、ドイツ、中国などを含めた世界中の国でのプレイを経験し、さらにはLoud Magazineの国内ベストDJ 11位に選ばれると言う偉業を04年に成し遂げた。今年は特に飛躍した一年となり、YUK@Wombはシーンのオピニオンリーダーより賞賛され、 KonZept Maus@Colors Studioの完成度や知名度も上り続けている。また、彼のMYM Agencyを通してミニマルの巨匠であるFalko Brocksieper、Oliver Hacke, Paul Ritch, Mark Henning, ReynoldにあのJeff Milliganまでを招待、オンラインラジオではCobblestone Jazz, Alex Smoke, Duplex 100をはじめ多くのアーティストのプレイを提供した。08年には自身の制作リリースが多きく期待されている。

MAYURI PROFILE

Mayuri is one of the pioneers of the Japanese club scene & IS one of the most talented and influential DJs and promoters in the country. Mayuri's best known project, the "METAMORPHOSE" festival is the biggest electronic music festival in Japan drawing upwards of 20,000 people. Mayuri has also taken her talents worldwide travelling to the major cities of Asia, the USA, Australia & Europe. Known better for her hard techno sound Maysuri has branched out into playing deeper more minimal sounds lately too & her 3rd Mix CD "Countercurrent EP" is scheduled to be released in July 2008.

90年代初頭よりDJ活動とパーティオーガナイズを開始、数々の人気パーティ、イベントを手掛けてきた。現在は、昨年２万３千人を動員し、今年で 9回目を迎える野外フェスティバル「メタモルフォーゼ」を主催している。DJとしては、今年3月に10周年を迎える「REBOOT」と、ロンドンー東京共同主催のハードテクノパーティ「FIERCE SOUNDS」のレジデンツ他、国内外の多数のパーティでプレイしている。新境地のミニマルセットも好評、昨年リリースしたミニマル系でのミックスCDが話題を呼んだ。2008年春には、Dogmatic Recordsより「Countercurrent EP」、7月には３枚目となるミックスCDのリリースを予定している。

DJ SON PROFILE

DJ SON aka Akio Narita currently holds residency at WOMB's first Sunday Afternoon Party, "PANGEA.," and he is also the brain behind Japan's finest Techno Event "IN:FLAME". His free minded approach to music and unique DJ style has rocked some of Tokyo's most essential clubs WOMB, ageHa, Air, Yellow, Unit, various outdoor festivals, artspaces & even shinto shrines.

SUNDAY AFTERNOONとしてはWOMB初のレギュラーパーティー"PANGEA"を主催。そして国内屈指のテクノイベン"IN:FLAME"のオーガナイザーとしての顔を持つ。彼の自由奔放な音楽性とアイデアに裏打ちされたプレイからは独創的な世界観が垣間見える。WOMB、 ageHa、 AIR、YELLOW、UNITなど都内主要クラブでの活動の他、オープン・エアーやアートスペース、寺などで開催される特殊なイベントにも軒並み名を連ね、一際異彩を放つDJ/オーガナイザーとして注目を集めている。
