hanaは日本語で「花」を意味します、また「華」は輝き・光・栄えを意味します。
エスペラント語では中国の主要民族である「漢人」を意味します。
モアイ像で有名なイースター島では「愛」を意味します。
アラビア語で「幸福」、「幸せ」を意味します。
沖縄（琉球）語で「ご褒美」を意味します。
ハワイ語で「活動・創造」を意味します。
韓国語で「一つ」を意味します

<hanahana共和国独立宣言>

誰かに美味しいご飯を作ってもらった時、
泣けるようなCDを焼いてもらった時、
何年も連れ添った彼女に振られて、
友達が朝まで酒を付き合ってくれた時、
そんな時には心からの「感謝」を送りたいから。
そしてそれは忘れないでいたいし、
忘れないでいてほしいから。
だからその星にはchaoというお金があるんだ。
それは感謝したい時にしか使えないお金。
だからそのお金が星中をぐるぐる回ると、
皆がどんどんハッピーになるんだ。
chaoはみんなの物。
ただ持ってても何の価値もないけど、
ぐるぐる回せば宝物になるんだよ。
ぐるぐる回るのにずっと残ってる。そんな不思議なお金。

その国に土地はないんだ。でも、そこには愛がある。
その国には広告がないんだ。だって必要ないからね。
想いは伝えたい人に届けば十分。
家族、恋人、かけがえのない友達、
行きつけのバーのマスター、焼き鳥屋のオヤジ、
まだ見ぬ君。
chaoで呑めれば十分だよね。chaoで食えれば幸せだよね。
そしていつか振り返った時、君の幸せがそこにあるよ。
そう、その星の名前は地球と言うんだ。

Chao va transmettre votre remerciement et rendre
heureux chacun.

누군가에게 손수만든 맛있는 음식을 대접받았을때 、
눈물나도록 감동시키는 CD를 구워받았을때 、
몇년동안인가 사귀었던 애인에게 차여서 、
친구가 아침까지 함께 술을 마셔주었을때 、
그럴때「감사」를 보내고 싶기에。
그리고 그 느낌을 잊고 싶지않아서 잊지 말아주었으면 해서
그래서 그 별에는 chao라는 돈이 있어。
그건 감사하고 싶을때밖에 못쓰는 돈.
그래서 그 돈이 그 별에서 빙글빙글 돌면서、
모두가 행복해지는 거야。
Chao는 모든이들의 것。
그냥 갖고 있으면 별 가치가 없지만、
빙글빙글 돌리면 보물이 되지
빙글빙글 돌리는데도 바닥이 나지않지。그런 불사사의한 돈。
그 나라에 토지는 없어。하지만 사랑이 있지。
그 나라에 광고는 없어。필요없으니까。
감정은 전하고 싶은 사람들에게 전하면 그뿐。가족, 연인, 둘도없는 친구들、
단골술집의 주인아저씨、라면집에 아줌마、
Chao로 마실수 있으면 되지. Chao로 먹을수 있으면 행복하겠지
그래서 언젠가 돌이켜 볼때 너의 행복이 거기에 있을거야。
