1968年8月9日生まれ。フィラデルフィア出身。

サマソニで来日している時期は、彼の誕生日に非常に近いのです。

バンド唯一の既婚者。奥様はフォトグラファーの Christy Bush 氏。

Swervedriver の Adam Franklin 氏とのプロジェクト。2007年12月、The Setting Suns より改名。2008年4月、既に iTMS でリリース済みの EP を CD にてリリース。

Magnetic Morning's debut EP on DH Records will be in stores this Saturday, April 19th- Record Store Day.
This special five-song EP is the product of a unique collaboration between : singer/guitarist, Adam Franklin (Swervedriver/Toshack Highway) and drummer Sam Fogarino (Interpol).
In celebration of both Record Store Day and the release, Sam will be DJing at Other Music in New York (15 East 4th Street) at 5pm EST the same day.

Sam の DJ、去年青山で回した時は Mac を使っていましたが、全然憶えていません。笑。
ほんと、MM は日本でも人気が出ると思うんですけどねー。

先日はメールありがとうございました。うちには、まだ入荷の案内はなしです。
やはり店頭に赴いて再度取り寄せをお願いすべきなのでしょうかね。
かといって、iTMS で買ってしまっているので eBay で買う程でもないしなあ。笑。

マイスペブルテンより。USツアーをするようです。
この感じでは、やはりInterpolのツアーは7月いっぱいで終わりなんでしょうね。

Magnetic Morning will be hitting the studio in Athens, Ga, during the summer months to record a batch of new tracks with Andy LeMaster, (Now It's Overhead, Bright Eyes) deluxe tape-op, and Jimmy LeValle (The Album Leaf) striking the Ivory.

A full US tour will commence in October '08.

Some of the cities included are....

明日からツアーが始まる MM ですが、
10/21にアルバム「A.M.」をリリースするようです。
マイスペにて3曲、stereogumにて1曲試聴可能になっていますー。
MM は日本で人気出ると思うんですけどね‥‥来日しないかなあ？

...just me, hiding behind nothing but the screen of my lap top. I usually can found behind a drum kit with the band Interpol. Sometimes I slip out from behind the traps to do a remix, or some other type of collaborative work that ranges beyond keeping the meter. Most recently, I stepped away from the configuration of a "band", and took on the task of creating a sound track for some aerialist, here in my home base of Athens, GA.. The company is called Canopy - a non-profit aerial dance/trapeze community studio. The show, entitled Fractured Fairy Tales, that I became involved with, is a series of aerial dance pieces loosely based on classic fairy tales - performed by the Canopy Repertory.

Currently, I'm preparing to re-enter the world of Interpol. I will do so from the comfortable confines of my drum kit... to travel the world that surrounds us... and you.
