I think japanese people often try to fit others too much. if its in japan, people dont need to speak english execpt for speaking with foreigners who have japanese speaking skill...

or even though a person doesnt have english skill, he/ she shouldnt feel sorry, shy or be unconfident towards others...

what do you guys think?
BTW, English is a tool not a piece of fashion...

I’m looking for some nice people who are interested in a language exchange group in Tokyo :)

I just organized an exchange group page on Facebook, n we had a 1st meeting up last week*
All members can organise and post unique and fun sessions! And easier than just one person organise everything...!!

We have about 6 japanese girls, 1 Japanese guy, 1 Australian guy, 2 English boys so far.
I guess we need more English speakers ;) and more Japanese guys maybe!
But any nice pp are welcome to join! Any language levels if u have a motivation!

Here are some rules of the group:
1) No discriminations, racism, harassment etc,
2) No attendance fee for the session, not for business, please!
3) We are to make friends, exchange languages and cultures!! Let's make the sessions meaningful with a lot of learning and fun*

A bit about myself, I lived in Australia for 6 years for uni and after graduate works. Now work in Tokyo, but I got a new boss who is an English speaker…! So i really really need to practice my speaking :)
