Attic Lights...

Are Kev Sherry (vocals, guitar), Colin McArdle (vocals, bass), Jamie Houston (guitar, vocals), Tim Davidson (guitar) and Noel O'Donnell (drums, vocals).

Are 5 likely lads from Glasgow (technically Noel is from Mallaig in the Highlands of Scotland and Tim is from Newcastle, the Highlands of England(?!) brought up on a diet of Beach Boys, Flaming Lips and deep fried Mars Bars.

Got their name from the light in their dark, attic rehearsal space.

Are managed and co-produced by Francis Macdonald from Teenage Fanclub.

Had Bjorn Yttling (from Peter, Bjorn and John) do the string arrangements on the forthcoming album.

Are currently finishing their album and acoustic versions.

Cite their favourite artists as Guided By Voices, Sparklehorse, Go-betweens, Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Jens Lekman, Camera Obscura and ELO.

FACT! Noel is a hill walker and has conquered 2 (count them!) munros: a munro is a Scottish mountain over 3000 feet tall.

FACT! Every year Kev works on an Irish farm for 2 weeks during lambing season to 'get back to the earth'. And he likes comic books.
