Luke Jennings and Nick Miller met at college in 1997 through their passion for Electronic Dance Music. In 2005 they teamed up and created 'Perceptive Nature' as they found themselves DJing back to back on a regular occasion.

Both have been DJing for almost 10 years and played at events all over the country. They are also promoters and residents for their own 'Absolution' event in their home city of Bristol.

Perceptive Recordings was founded in the summer of this year with the primary objective to discover high quality dance music and introduce it to DJs and dancefloors worldwide.

The label is highly supportive of up and coming producers who are searching for a break in the music world. Their first signing, Slovenian trancer Andy Blueman specialises in uplifting trance with an epic breakdown and an abundance of energy. His debut track "Nyctalopia" typifies the style and quality of the label and gives you a strong idea of what to expect in future. One thing's for sure, this certainly isn't "just another digital label", it promises to be something special.
