DJ TAKAKI biography:
One of Japan's top-class turntablists, DJ Takaki became the youngest competitor to come in 3rd place at the world's largest DJ battle DMC in 2003.
At the DMC JAPAN FINAL in 2007, he came in 2nd place, only a few points behind the winner wowing the audience with his original turntablist skills, whipping them into a frenzy.
Recently, he has been combining various dance music genres such as techno, house, electro drum and bass, and dubstep, amazing the dance floor with his aggressive, cutting-edge style.
DJ Takaki has participated in Japan's largest and popular outdoor festival METAMORPHOSE as well as Ortfo'n'Bass held at ageHa, Japan's biggest club.
He has also participated in the longest-running, top-class drum and bass party in Japan, "Drum & Bass Sessions, held at UNIT Daikanyama.
Also performed at Japan's largest annual summer techno beach party MANIAC BEACH, Takaki does not stop showcasing his talent by continuing to collaborate his talent with brands such as Lacoste and Nixon, and Monster energy drink.
Having producing his own tracks as well, this next- generation turntablist is currently the center of attention for his activities that span across various fields, and is set to have a promising future.

世界最大規模のDJバトル「DMC」において、2003年度に当時史上最年少となる３位入賞を果たした。
また2007年度の「DMC JAPANFINAL」においてはそのオリジナリティ溢れるプレイを最高潮まで高め、
会場を熱狂と興奮に巻き込み優勝者とわずかの僅差で
２位入賞を果たす。
近年ではTechno,House,Electro,DrumnBass,Dubstep などのダンスミュージックとの融合に価値観を求め、
攻撃的でカッティング・エッジなスタイルを軸に
フロアを攻め続ける。
DJバトルにて鍛え上げられたスクラッチ・ビートジャグリングなどの テクニックを武器に展開されるプレイはまさに圧巻。
ここ最近は自身の楽曲制作や、 国内最大級の野外レイブ"METAMORPHOSE"のドラムンベース専門ステージ
"ortfo'n'bass"への出演。
そして2011年、新木場ageHaのWATERにて開催されたortfo'n'bass
にも出演。
更に、代官山UNITにて行われている日本のドラムンベース/ダブステップ シーンを代表する最長のトップパーティー、
"Drum & Bass Sessions"へも出演。
その他にも、渋谷WOMBにて行われたアパレルブランド"LACOSTE L!VE"のLAUNCH PARTYにて
ショーのDJを担当。
毎年夏に行われる日本テクノシーンが誇る最大級のビーチパーティー"MANIAC BEACH"に出演するなど、
シーンの垣根を越えた幅広い活動が注目される。
名実共に期待の次世代ターンテーブリストである。
