BUT.. your only 18 and have never been to japan... so im guessing all of the exchange students at your uni or whatever are sleeping around and then crying about it..

I would also like to comment on this if I may.
While I agree that there certainly are people that come to japan thinking they are going to pick up girls easily, fuck em and leave them, saying the majority of "foreigner" men are like this is just 100% wrong (I'm saying this as someone who meets a lot of "foreigners" here), the experiences of "foreigners" in Japan are broad. Furthermore, you are approaching this conversation with the attitude that in fact, all Japanese women are innocent and pure and apparently so stupid they can't tell what a man's intentions are or decide for themselves what they want in a relationship.
I just can't agree with that. I know plenty of very intelligent free-thinking Japanese women who sometimes wouldn't mind just having someone to sleep with. They are human too. Human's like a little sex sometimes. I guess I just kind of disagree with your view of Japanese women.
Lastly, as a side note, I found it curious that as an Australian you would use the term "foreigner." From your perspective Japanese people are "foreigners." Actually, who exactly are you talking about in this community? Are you saying the majority of non-Australian men are just out to trick Japanese women? What are the implications then for Japan? Hundreds of thousands of years of relationships in which the man was just tricking the woman? Does your girlfriend know that you suspect her father does not care about her mother and is just using her for sex?
