下北沢WEDGEで2004年秋にスタートした奇数月第１週末の「HOUSE」。自分の家、友達の家、そんな感じでもっと気軽に遊んでもらえるようなクラブ空間を目指して 「HOUSE」と命名。2005年春からは今年でDJ歴２０年を迎えたベテランDJ木村コウもレジデントとして参戦。木村コウが普段プレイする都内の大きなハコとはまた違った雰囲気のセットが聴けると好評だ。脇を固める面々もアンダーグラウンドシーンを支える実力と個性を備えたDJばかり。そして2006年から参加のライブペイントのgravity freeがダイナミックかつオーガニックなペイントでクラウドを釘付けにしている。下北沢という土地柄がそうさせるのか、フレンドリーといっても身内ノリではなく、一見さんでも楽しめて、フードやビジュアルなど別要素を持ち込んでもしっくり馴染んでしまう自由な雰囲気。ジャンルやＤＪの名前にがんじがらめにされてしまった今のクラブシーンとはまた離れた位置だからか、音楽にこだわりは持っていても、幅広いジャンルを平たく楽しめるクラウドがこのパーティには多いのかもしれない。とにかく肩の力を抜いてふらっと遊びに来てみては？
Since the Fall of 2004 the Party 'HOUSE' has been held on the first　Saturday of every other month at CLUB WEDGE in Shimokitazawa. We named this party 'HOUSE' with the idea of creating a space where anyone can come and relax and listen to music just as they would at their friend's 'HOUSE'or even at their own home. Since May 2005, 'HOUSE' has welcomed a new resident DJ, KO KIMURA who celebrated his 20 years of Djing this year.
They say Ko's set sounds different from the ones at his other residencies at the larger clubs, so come check it out for your own ears.'HOUSE' continues to have it's resident DJs KIYOS,KAZUAKI NOGUCHI and more. All of whom have supported the u derground scene with their unique sound and fantastic Djing skills. It has been said that 'HOUSE'attracts a crowd where each individual has their own opinion about their favorite genre of music but who at the same time are able to appreciate all kinds of music. This might be because it's held at Shimokitazawa -which is certainly not the center of dance music but more a free and easy going type of town. Anyways, come check it out. We are sure you'll enjoy it!
