ROBERTO PLA & THE LATIN ENSEMBLE:

Roberto Pla is an international legend who has given a new voice to the rhythmic sounds of his homeland Colombia. Together with his brass-driven 19 piece band, continues to weave his incendiary mix of Salsa, Cumbia and Afro-Cuban jazz.

The individual curriculum vitae of this particular group of musicians is quite amazing. Each of them has performed, recorded or toured with artists including Tom Jones, Elton John, Boy George, Jerry Lee Lewis, Boney M, Joe Strummer, Adalberto Y Su Son (Cuba), Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, David Byrne, Willie Colon, Alfredo De La Fe among others.
