Hi, my name is JAMES. I'm a independent/freelace filmmaker living in los angeles, california. The reason why I open this community is that I'm interested in Japanese films as well as curious about their industry & system. I would like to know more about Japanese filmaking (independent & studio). in return I will share information about the U.S. movie industry & their systems.
so their can be a better understaning between the two - the good & the bad. so feel free to be honest about what you know or experienced. also I would like to know more about Japanese independent films & any reconmendations on where I can see these works, and again I will share info about what I know about films here in the U.S.
