Born in France, Alban Christ spends his childhood in Morocco where he will discover is passion at age 8:
Photography. He will then carry out reportages on the magic and the mystical beauty of the Moroccan landscapes.
Back in France: graphisme, paintings, photography, the images, are taking all his time. And his passion for women brings his interest into fashion photography.
He decides to make New York his home, where he contributes to many internationals magazines: Italian Vogue, Spanish Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazzar, Cosmopolitan, D La Repubblica, Italian ELLE, American ELLE, etc...
'At the age of 8 years old, Alban Christ's family moved from France to Morocco, where he would discover the beauty of the light and the landscape. As a young adult, in love with photography, he moved back to France where he became a black and white printer and photography assistant, working with numerous Parisian photographers including Bettina Rheims.
A fashion photographer now living and working in the United States, Alban has collaborated with Harper Bazaar, Vogue Italy, Marie Claire and Conde Nast Traveler. His shoots have taken him around the world, combining his fashion instincts with his passion for landscapes.
With his large format camera in hand and deep personal connection with the earth, Alban has explored and photographed the far reaches of the earth. Always in black and white. Always capturing a somber, yet elegant reality. '
