皆さんは、DRY CELLと言うバンドをご存知でしょうか？勿論ご存知の方もいらっしゃると思いますが、改めて説明させて頂きます。
前身バンド、ビヨンド・コントロールはLAでは注目されたテクニカルなロック・バンド。そこにヴォーカル、ジェフ・ガットが加わり、リンキン・パークを手掛けたジェフ・ブルーがプロデュースしてドライ・セルが生まれました。壮大なスケール感のなかにヘヴィーさを挟み込み、メロディアスに歌い込むスタイルは、今のアメリカの〈音〉を象徴しているかもｗ
地元では、音楽がlinkin parkに似てる事から「小リンキン」呼ばれていたそうです。
ちなみに当時バンドの平均年齢は１８歳！一番下が１６歳！若っ！
ジェフブルーが手掛けている事から大型新人と大きくメディアにもとりあげられ自分も期待大だったのですが、発売直前で販売中止しかもその後、所属するワーナーとも契約破棄になり、終止状態になってしまいました・・が、少し前まではnet上で改名したDRY CELLの曲を聴く事が出来ました＾＾しかし現在では詳細不明です(T_T)
去年やっとサンプル盤を入手し感動しましたが＾＾、今現在の活動情報が知りたいです！
DRY CELLの音はラップのないミクスチャーです☆ツインボーカルでメインVoジェフ・ガットの歌声は本家linkinのチェスター・ベニントンにも匹敵するぐらいの素晴らしい声の持ち主です！勿論曲もメロディアスで激ヤバです！
