Traditional stories like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and Urashima Taro continue to inspire children and adults alike. Fairy tales, fables, and folk tales often originate from local oral traditions, yet still have striking similarities across cultures.
This community began in January 2008 as an opportunity for students at Kanda University of International Studies to exchange thoughts about fairy tales. Loren Waller, who teaches the English Sogo, "Oral and Written Storytelling" for the English department at KUIS, maintains this community.
Please join our storytelling community, and enjoy reading fairy tales and fables here on Mixi. And, please invite a friend!
