My name is Ryoma and I am a lover of piano and classical music. Because I have been playing the piano since I was four years old, I feel so much for “Piano”, definitely. As I show a preference for a lot of composers, I particular like Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt, Claude Debussy and Joseph-Maurice Ravel. In addition, although I love a lot of pieces, I am going to show my selected favorite works below.
Frédéric Chopin: Barcarolle (Op.60), Etude (Op.10, Op.25), Andante Spianato And Grande Polonaise (Op.22), Ballades [especially, No.4 (Op.52)], Scherzi [especially, No.2 Op.31, No.3 Op.39], Sonata No.3 [especially, the fourth movement “Finalle”], Nocturne No.1 (Op.9-1), No.2 (Op.9-2), No.8 (Op.27-2), No.20 (Op.Posth), Piano Concerto No.1 (Op.11)
Franz Liszt: First Mephisto Waltezes, The Transcendental Etudes (especially, No.10 in F minor), Les Jeux d'Eaux à la Villa d'Este, Grandes Etudes de Paganini, Un Sospiro, Consolations
Claude Debussy: L'Isle Joyeuse, Clair de lune, Rêverie, La fille aux cheveux de lin, 2 Arabesques, Valse romantique, Prélude à l'Après-midi d'un faune, La Mer
Joseph-Maurice Ravel: Pavane pour une infante défunte, Jeux D’Eau, Miroirs, Gaspard de la Nuit, Le Tombeau de Couperin
Robert Alexander Schumann: Kreisleriana (Op.16), Sonata No.1 (Op.11), Carnaval (Op.9), Fantasiestücke (Op.12), Kinderszenen (Op.15)
Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition (especially, No.10 The Bogatyr Gates in the Capital in Kiev)
Even though I had a dream to become a pianist once when I was young, I chose the medical course after all. Therefore, I was not a professional of the piano, but I really like piano sounds and playing the piano is my quite important hobby. I would be grateful if someone could share same feelings with me.
Basically, I often listen to classical music, but the works of some pop musicians like Billy Joel and Ryuichi Sakamoto are my favourites, too. Moreover, I also take pleasure in orchestra and opera music. So, any topics will be welcomed for me.
I am looking forward to communicating with you.
