I often encounter a situation or feeling that I cannot express in English, even though they seem easy for me to do so. I made this community to discuss and learn how to describe them. When you have something that you cannot describe in English, please write here so that we can discuss it. I would like you to give ideas to the questions.
I will be also happy if Japanese learners join this community so that we can think about the difference between English and Japanese. Please give us what you cannot express in Japanese with precise description of the situation in English.
For those who first post a topic here:
1. Please feel free to make a new topic here to the extent it is suitable for this community.
2. Title should be a clue by which others can imagine what it is about.
3. Please do not ask others to help your report or homework.
I hope that we have wonderful discussions here and also have great time with you all. Thank you for your joining and making this community active, and also you’re your understanding.
4. Please do not attack others personally. This community is seen by almost 50,000 pepole so that those posting comments think about what you write before posting.
For those who want to announce events:
Events related to English/English conversation are welcome. Do not introduce seminars or classes by which you get profits.
For those who want to introduce books etc:
Please feel free to do so, as long as what you are introducing is about/on English, international cultures etc that help others learn English.
I am writing down several rules here clearer than it was, because the number of attendees is increasing and I want conversations between us can go smoothly. I may get rid of topics giving that they are out of the purpose of this community. Thank you for your understanding.
For those who want to exchange comments about foreign books, there is another English community that I launched, Talking about foreign books.
