William Hope Hodgson

奇怪小説の先駆者　William Hope Hodgson　のファンコミュニティー。

歴史；(1877-1918)、イギリス　エセックス地方の牧師の息子として生まれ、８年間商船の船員として、３度世界を航海した。
海での救命が評価され、 Royal Humane Societyからメダルを貰う。1904年に処女作'The Goddess of Death'、1907年に小説'Glem Carring'　を発表。1918年第一次世界大戦中ドイツ軍との戦闘で死ぬ。
