About Starr Blazz
The name says it all. Bloodsport, Stoneface, and Majesty are the Blazz collective. This group, coming out of philly, is here to blow up the game with true-life stories, real lyrics and dope beats. Starr Blazz aligned in 1998 as a big team of emcees and finally wound up as the three headed monster of today. Spitting on songs with The Game, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Cormega, Peedi Peedi, Capone, Nature, J-Bezzel of Dipset, and Tragedy Khadafi, the Blazz are no newcomers. Starr Blazz has performed on BET's Soundstage, the world famous Apollo Theatre and numerous clubs around the tri-state area. Two members of Starr Blazz have gone through near death experiences. In 1994 Bloodsport was shot at close range by a shotgun, which almost ended his life. He survived but still has pellets in his stomach. Bloodsport has bounced back with a vengeance in the rap game. In 1999, Stoneface was shot in the head by a 357 at close range. This took his eyesight, leaving the rapper blind. Having survived the shooting, he now spits totally blind and with vengeance as well. The members of Starr Blazz are no newcomers to personal tragedy. Maybe this is the reason they spit with so much conviction. Starr Blazz, representing Philadelphia are here to give the game a facelift. There is so much the game needs right now as far as realness and true emcees. Majesty, Stone, and Blood are here to bring back the Hip Hop that made this industry what it used to be.
