≪CJCとは何をするクラブか？≫
《日本語を話す人の集まり》
基本的にこれだけがCJCの唯一の制限です。その他目的，規則等は特にありません。明確な目的がないのがCJCの弱点ですが，その一方あなたの希望することは何でも出来るのがCJCの最大の長所でもあります。Berkeleyにおけるあなたの楽しみが少しでも増えればCJCとしてはうれしい限りです。
《いろいろな日本人と知り合える場》
CJCのイベントに興味がなくても，ミーティングをのぞいてみることで趣味の合う人，気の合う人が見つかればそれは それで大いに結構です。ミーティングや メーリングリストを積極的に利用して，気軽に仲間探しをしてください。また， あなたのアイディアによる新たなCJCイベントの企画も大いに歓迎します。
《役に立つあるいは面白い情報交換の場》
日本関係の求人情報や，引越しセールの案内，近所のレストランの感想まで、なんでも気軽に寄せてください。メーリングリストのアドレスは <caljapanclub@gmail.com> です。
≪What kind of a club is the CJC?≫
《A Social Group Conducted in Japanese》
CJC is a social club open to Japanese students and anyone who is interested in Japanese culture. The official language of the club is Japanese, and many of the events will be conducted mainly in Japanese. However, we also welcome those who are currently learning Japanese and looking for the opportunity to use it.
《A Place to Meet Other Japanese Speakers》
Our traditional social events include the welcome party, bowling tournament, dim-sum in Oakland, and hot-pot (nabe) party. In the past, we have gone to Karaoke, Napa Valley for a picnic, and Lake Tahoe for skiing. We are always on the look out for new and fun activities to do, so please drop us a line!
《A Place for Information Exchange》
Furthermore, through the email network that all CJC members may enroll, you can establish a network of friends that share the same interests and hobbies. If you have any useful information you may want to share, send an email to our mailing list: <caljapanclub@gmail.com>
Most of all, CJC is a place for finding Japanese-speaking friends to have fun together. So please come join us!!
