Other than Philadelphia, it is difficult to find good examples of Duchamp's original works. As you know, Duchamp created very few pieces. Most of the works in collections around the world are commisioned copies of his readymades or sketches/notes unrelated to his major works. Duchamp did his best to keep his 'body of work' in Philadelphia.
Some of Duchamp's early paintings are scattered around museums and collections in Europe and the U.S. However, they are not very interesting to most Duchamp fans. Duchamp himself, took almost no interest to locate his early paintings or sketches.
I really like Richard Hamilton's copy of The Large Glass at the Tate Modern in London. To me, it is a very important because Duchamp himself supported the work. In addition, Hamilton's Large Glass was created before most of the other readymade copies (which the Tate has a collection).
Because I have been to Philadelphia, I never look for Duchamp's works at other museums. However, I am always happy when I find them!
I hope somebody in this community knows more about this topic!
Thank you for information.
About the copy of the large glass,
as you told, 1st copy was by Hamilton in London
(teacher of Bryan Ferry!),
do you have any information about 2nd copy
by Wolf LInde. Where is this? in Sweden?
He created some interprertationable pieces about the large glass,
I remember.
3rd one is, we know in tokyo by Shuzo Takiguchi...
Your English is not horrible at all! It is actually pretty good.
Thank you for the message. The Hamilton/Linde copies are actually a pretty interesting story...
Linde built his first copy of the Large Glass in 1961 (he later built another, I believe). Though Linde's copy was an artistic work in itself (like the original, it was even damaged in transport!), it was also seen as a chance to finally show the world a replica of Duchamp's masterpiece (which could not be moved from Philadelphia). Because I believe it was built with money from the National Museum in Stockholm, I think it stays there when it is not on tour.
I am interested in Hamilton's work because of the direct support Hamilton received from Duchamp (Duchamp also signed it, I believe, making it the first 'official' Duchamp reproduction). I think the Hamilton copy was completed in 1964.
In addition to Takiguchi's copy, I think there are several other copies in existence.

I didn't know Linde's another copy exist,
and the fact glass was broken!
In Duchamp's miniarure, the crack was reproducted.
He accepted the event, and I think the crack added
"aura" to the glass.
I wrote short essay about "the way of cracking of glass"
on my BROG(in Japanese) in the past.

Why do you think Linde's copy is artistic?

I see. Thank you for information.but both?
any difference?

In addition to Takiguchi's copy, I think there are several other copies in existence.
Also I did not these copies.
Seth:
By the way, are you a Bryan Ferry fan, too?
haha, yes. I also like Brain Eno.
Ferry made "the bride stripped bare" record,
and Eno made "kurts rejoinder" song,
I like their music of course,
I am interested in them as sons of DADA.
