Lost In Translation: Help!コミュのProgressive Modernization

Can anyone help in translating

"Progressive Modernization" ...from a IT/systems point of view. I thought a lot but cud not come up with something good.

Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. I dont want to loose the meaning due to my bad translation.

段階的近代化
又は
漸進的近代化
seem good.

In an IT/system, there are cases where the latest technologies/solutions coexist with legacy sytems. The reasons to do so sometimes may be the budget limitation, lack of confidence in the new technologies/solutions. In such cases, old AND new system are deployed in parallel. However the ultimate goal is to modernize entirely. The process between the starting and end of this process could be called 段階的近代化　or 漸進的近代化.

と考えますが如何でしょう？　日本語の意味は通じる自信があるけれど、文脈に合うかどうかは、ご検討ください。

It seems to me 近代化 is not so often used in I/T industries. I'd take 段階的再生 as the following explication.

I agree. Evrything IT is in 近代。So modernization in fact always mean Next-Generaton-ize. How about 段階的次世代化。　No. They won't like it. But maybe?

Hey guys thanks for coming up with ideas..
In fact I had also thought of 漸進的現代化 or 近代化..
or 漸進的なリエンジニアリング　or システム再構築..but the Japanese people I know said it sounds very literal translation.

Hurry San , the full sentence is "Progressive Modernization-The New Dimension"
