Yesterday, I held the 19th circle activity in Shinjuku.
As many as ten members joined it! So lively!
We ended up having dinner at Lamp Tei, we didn't go to Sweets Paradise where I eagerly wanted to go. Recently I haven't been to TABEHODAI-style restaurants. Ahhhhhh, I'm dying for it.泣き顔
> ちゃwa♂さん

Thanks for hosting!

How about going CRUSING SPACE where you can eat men as many as you can! SO CREEPY IDEA, SORRY!
What do you mean with CRUSING SPACE???
Oh, I haven't been there ;-)
Please take me to the place, could you?
And then, go into together if you like泣き顔
> ちゃwa♂さん

It's too ironic that you can eat men as many as you CAN. I hadn't noticed that.

I DON'T NEED ITCH, BUT LOVE!

> テキラ〜さん

Me, too.
>>ずん
ITCH :-) :-) I remember it lol

>>テキ
む? So end so? I can't understand! This is the first time I've ever heard it!

>>研
How about saying like this, "I want Chawa to advise me on English"
I have much confidence in teaching grammatical matters, sorry if I sound boasting.
Anyway,
the typhoon is scaring!
I feel like staying at home around the clock today.
Last weekend, I participated in an academic conference in Osaka.
After that, a lot of things to do have been accumulating >-(
Oh, I don't know how to cope with the adversity these days.
Plus, I'll take part in a full-marathon the next Sunday, I'm afraid I won't be able to complete it because I don't have enough time to practice running.

HELP ME pp

But anyway, I'll do my best.
I ran a full marathon last Sunday.
The running course contains a lot of ups and downs.

After that, I really experienced the famous Japanese proverbial phrase.
That is, "my legs become like poles."
Pretty exhausted.
Now I can't just go up & down at stairs.
I wonder when my body recovers completely.
It looks like I'm just performing a monologue, as I expected :-)
But I don't care.

The other day I joined another English speaking club held at our university. This club holds a really stimulating discussion every week! I learned a lot about how to navigate a discussion.

So, I suppose our next activity will be a smoother one!
These days I have a lot of work to do, so I feel quite exhausted X-<

To my embarrassment, today I was 20 minutes late for a small-scale seminar, which was supposed be caused by the exhaustion.

How embarrassing!

I lost my face. I should be cafeful hereafter.
Long time no see!
Now that I believe I'm getting used to separately listening & speaking English, I'm now working hard to practice doing those simultaneously. For example, While someone is speaking continuously, I try to interrupt him/her and make some comments or questions. This is quite tough for me, currently. But for the purpose of getting a high score on a TOEFL, I should get used to this communication style. I wonder if there is some good methods to practice simultaneous listening & speaking.
So, I guess this kind of skill is a difficult hurdle to becoming an interpreter.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next activity, because some fluent speakers will attend it.
LOOOOOOON time no see!

Let me write a little diary for improving English & stimulating this board : )

I took TOEFL last weekend, TOEIC this weekend. I feel like I dumped away my precious money. I didn't practice enough preparing for them. I wonder when I can reach my objective; 100 in TOEFL iBT, 900 in TOEIC. Anyway, I'll keep learning.
Hi Chawa,

I just got the result of TOEIC, took on Oct 31. My score was totally the same as what I got last time, right after I came back from the U.S. I really need to practice English in order to get higher socre in TOEIC. Actually, my goal is not to get the high score, but to improve English skills totally. I decided to take another TOEIC on Jan 30. Let's learn English each other, and reach our goals together!
Look on the bright side! I think it's to praiseworthy to maintain your current advanced marks of TOEIC. So, how about writing skill & speaking skill? Preparing for TOEIC, of course, will polish your overall English abilities, nevertheless, those 2 kinds of skills won't be enhanced comparatively, maybe. Why don't you take TOEFL iBT, which actually I'm tackling currently? I'm not IMPOSING on you, but it's my suggestion. As I'm sure you know, the contents of those tests are distinct mutually. Anyway, just joining our activities should contribute to your oral skills, and this board for writing skill as well!
Hi, my honey. Thanks a lot for notifying us of this pretty funny & silly video! We've got to learn how to tell Japanese customs to foreigners because we might have trouble with it, I guess. I believe the main problem exists not in our incapability of translating Japanese into appropriate English sentences, but in our lack of knowledge per se.

Our next activity can focus on enlighten us as to Japanese culture!
